The Silverhill experience

LOVE: Jesus said there is no commandment greater than these: Love God completely and love others as yourself.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:30-31)

GROW: Among all age groups our goal is to create environments that foster spiritual growth.

Growing in Christ, however, occurs best not in isolation but in the context of community.

We believe that life is better together. God does not want us to do life alone. He has given us one another that we might love, build up, support and challenge each other.

SERVE: The love Jesus has for people moved Him to say during his life on earth that he "did not come to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many."

In the same way, we believe that serving others around us is also part of what it means to follow Jesus. Our love for God compels us to love and serve others.
